Alex Vera rules with Kocho, Beat again

Alex Vera is a young and talented fast growing gospel artiste and one of Nigeria’s top emerging songstresses. The rising crooner’s talent is obvious, her songs are enchanting, and her-die-for-voice is lucid and polished that one would love to hear.
The Otukpa-born Benue State entertainer has been gaining plaudits and a whole lot of fans ever since she stormed the music podium with her latest singles, Kocho and Beat Again.
Born and raised in Kano to the revered family of Alex Ameh, founder, Catholic Holy Name Fellowship Worldwide, Alex has so much to offer the music world.
Amazingly, her foray into the music industry is already giving critics the vapors as one of the most exciting and original female singers-cum-songwriters on the scene.
In a recent chat with VC, the budding songbird whose latest studio effort; Kocho is a heavy rotation on radio stations across the country affirmed: “At the end of time, life is only the dash between two dates. We cannot exercise our choice over the first date and the last date but all that matters is how we have spent that little dash.” Hence, she advises: “Whatever you intend doing, do it now because in the end when death calls, your last wish won’t be to make more money; it will be to have more time. The greatest tragedy of life is not death, but to meet God unprepared.”
The effervescent and charming damsel is unarguably born with an astonishing musical talent that is still yet untapped. She wrote her first song entitled “Oh my God” at the tender age of 10. She continued to fine-tune her skills by performing songs and dramas at church events. At the age of 14, she formed an all-girl choreography group, which she christened “Angels in Disguise.” They group latter parted ways when she got admission into the university to pursue her education.
Known for her non-compromising behavior, Vera is blessed with a creative imagination –a gift, which she has employed to write breathtaking stories for music videos. Her artistic endowment and creative ability do not only magnify her innovativeness during the song writing process but also help her to fashion out appropriate ways to carry her audience along with an interesting music video that will connect with each viewer personally and leave them yearning for more.
“Some say the world would end between 2012 and 2020. How amusing it is that men have been predicting the end since the beginning of time.” Vera wonders.
